My poor daughter unfortunately inherited this nice insect bite allergy from my DH! This is now the 5th time this year that my daughter has got bit so much that she gets this nice reaction. Even the best insect repellent in the world won’t keep them away. Besides installing bat houses around my backyard, I am trying to convince my neighbors that they need bug zappers. That way all the insects will go to their houses. No such luck yet. I’ll have to stick with the bat houses since they are supposed to be able to consume 300 insects per hour per bat! I sincerely have my doubts since this nice breeding ground is my backyard.

Ewe…ouch! That’s so stinky that she has allergies like that. Keep in mind though that unfortunately when installing a bat house it can take up to a year for them to find them…and for your human scent to completly gone. And with that breading ground you might want to build a big bat house…it’ll get fat real fast 🙂 You might want to stick to trying to get your neighbors to buy bug zappers.

When I was little, bugs would fly over 50 people just to come and bite me special. I still have some Benadryl moments, but at least I pretty much grew out of it.. I hope she does too, because it stinks. Poor thing.
